(Job Title: Acting District Manager / Relief Account Manager)
· As Acting District Manager I work with staff on day to day sales & promotion activities including presentation of customer marketing agreements. Facilitates detailed sales training for all employees. As a relief manager I cover routes for other managers during vacations or sick days. I am responsible for selling and ordering products at customer locations. Execute and close all sales calls. Sell in incremental displays and equipment placements; sell in promotional programs and ensure dealer compliance. In connection with a sales call, maintain appropriate inventory levels, maintain company assets and point of sale, ensure account meets Coca-Cola merchandising standards, determine stores' product needs, place and transmit appropriate order in conjunction with existing geographic sales routes. Communicates clearly and succinctly all account activities to appropriate parties. Transport, replace and maintain point of pale advertising as appropriate for account. Territory spans from Kittanning to DuBois to Lewistown and in between. I travel over 1,200 miles a week.

· My challenge was to grow the Blair County & Bedford County media markets! Working from my home office, I managed 55 regional broadcast television advertising clients. Clients included McDonalds, Highmark Blue Cross, Marcus & Mack, Thomas Automotive, among others. I developed relationships with media buyers and business owners (large and small!) I discovered client needs and provide diversified research tools, marketing plans and strategies. I developed plans that combine NBC television programming along with unique WJACTV.COM internet components that deliver results. I sold an average of $56,000 per month. I have recently completed a new project for the station that included creating and managing a large bridal show--The show featured over 60 vendors and attracted more than 675 brides! The event was a needed success for the station during a slow 1st quarter media month, it also assisted with overall market positioning and image.
· Managed 150 national and local cable television advertising clients. As a management liaison and senior account executive, I provided extensive research along with customized marketing plans and strategies for each client. My goal was to help take clients success to the next level. I wrote television commercial scripts! I provided research and sales expertise for my cable sales staff(s) in Altoona, State College, and Johnstown Pennsylvania. I sold an average of $50,000 per month. Consistently beat my quarterly and monthly budgets!

· Worked with 197 national and local advertising clients for Barash Publications including Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Penn State University, Woolrich, and Johnson & Johnson. Develop creative advertising ideas, implement targeted marketing strategies, work with media budgets from $2,000 to $100,000+, and coordinate multimedia campaigns. Generate advertising sales contracts over $290,000 each year. Established partnerships with regional media organization. Consistently exceeded sales quota!

· Developed long-term radio advertising campaigns and advised business leaders on marketing and public relations issues. Managed regional clients such as hospitals, government agencies, and school districts. Prepared creative scripts and copy for radio announcer production. Generated radio sales over $122,000 during my adventure in radio.

· Strengthened PENNDOT’s relationship with District 9-0 customers through the Agility initiative. Developed relationships with media, local leaders, transportation customers, labor unions, and state officials. Managed Customer Advisory Boards in four District Maintenance Counties. Implemented a diversified customer focus and enrichment program that encouraged PENNDOT customers to explore the transportation system and become pro-active citizens by participating in transportation planning. Crafted press releases that generated news coverage. Addressed customers concerns and worked with department officials to provide positive experiences and solutions.

· Collaborated with the city planning team to develop a new city comprehensive plan. Conducted city research, prepared executive summaries and reports, organized special events and press conferences. As a nominal group facilitator, I facilitated neighborhood meetings and conducted twelve citizen group interviews as part of the city’s research for the new comprehensive plan. Generated media and community interest with ingenious press releases.
